I created this list to share with you. The following is a list of items that I use every day and can’t go without. I often get asked what products I use such as what is the best type coconut oil to use. I made this list to help you easily find all these great products! I’ve used all of these items for years and haven’t found anything that compares.
Food and Kitchen:
There are several options when buying coconut oil such as unrefined or refined. I always use unrefined coconut oil. I use it for recipes, cooking, oil pulling, and skin care (it makes a perfect moisturizer). I also use it as a conditioner for my hair and for preventing acne.
I love baking with coconut flour in place of conventional flour. It is gluten free and grain free. I bake almost all of my recipes with coconut flour.
This stuff is miraculous! Seriously, just like coconut oil it has so many uses. I add a teaspoon to a glass of water and drink it before a meal. I also use it as a salad dressing, for whitening my teeth, and preventing acne (by applying it topically).
Not all salt is created equal. Most kinds of salt you find in the food store is heavily processed and highly refined, meaning that it is striped of minerals. The best kind to use is either Celtic sea salt or Himalayan pink sea salt. I use a mixture of both, but primarily use Celtic sea salt for most recipes.
Raw honey can be used in place of other sugars. When ever I find a recipe, I always substitute raw honey for the sweetener the recipe calls for to make it healthier. Most honey is pasteurized, which removes the beneficial vitamins, enzymes, and antioxidants. This is why I only use Raw Honey because it is not pasteurized and all of the beneficial compounds are preserved. I also use honey to make face masks and moisturize my skin.
Castile soap is the only soap I use! It can be used for shampoo, hand soap, body wash, veggie wash, laundry soap, and household cleaner. It is made from 100% pure plant oils. There are several different kinds you can choose from such as non-scented or one with added essential oils.
Baking soda is another one of my go to products. I use it as a household cleaner and as an exfoliator. It can also be used to create a face mask to prevent acne.
Supplements and Vitamins:
Magnesium oil is a topical way to naturally increase your magnesium level. It is made from combining magnesium flakes (which are similar to Epsom salts) with water. I spray the magnesium oil on my skin and let it absorb. After I started using it, I saw great results as it improved my sleep. It is estimated that 80% of the population is deficient in magnesium and many would see a great improvement in their health from boosting their magnesium.
